Schultz made his first and only appearance in Battle Arena Toshinden 3, as an unlockable counterpart to Chaos. He is one of the fastest characters of the third game, along with Sho Shinjo and like him, can step backwards to a great length in a single, swift motion. He is also considered as the one of Kayin Amoh's well-known rogue in his first appearance, as seen in the game's opening where he about to kill Kayin, and Kayin's first stage battle against Schultz.
Character History
Schultz is a member of the mysterious Soshiki and happens to be the fourth-in-command of the organization (Vermilion is second while Miss Til is third). Little is known about Schultz's past, except that he is one of Abel's earliest and most loyal followers and is more than willing and prepared to fight to the death for his master. Like Abel, Schultz is also an avid worshipper of Agon Teos and is determined to bring back the fighting god under the orders of Abel himself, who had explained to Schultz the ancient prophecy of Agon Teos, in which it is clearly stated from within the prophecy itself that the body of a pure hearted person can hold the immense spiritual power of Agon Teos and that the blood sacrifices of the strongest warriors would be needed in order to bring Agon Teos back into the Earth.
To fully ensure and see to it that his callous and malevolent plan would truly succeed upon sight, Abel had decided to host the third Toshindaibukai (right after the fall of the Himitsu Kessha) so that he could hire and gather the assassins in order for them to copy and mimic the Toshinden fighters' unique fighting styles while Schultz himself was given the important job of being the ritual practitioner so that he could initiate the ceremony at the right moment. Unfortunately for Schultz, he never got the chance and opportunity to perform the ceremony, for he was killed by Chaos (a former member of the Himitsu Kessha) during the events of Toshinden 3.
